Encel 8" In-Wall Speakers Pair - Home Theatre or Music

Great Sound, Hidden in the Wall

The Encel 8" In-Wall Speakers deliver full, room-filling sound while disappearing into the wall. A big 8-inch driver and an adjustable tweeter give real weight and clarity from a speaker you paint to match and forget, whether you use them as home-theatre mains, surrounds or discreet hi-fi in any room.

Why You'll Love It

• Speakers you don't see: Flush-mounted and paintable, they blend into the wall so sound fills the room with no box in sight. Ideal for lounges, bedrooms and anywhere clean looks matter.

• Real bass from the wall: The 8-inch driver reaches down to 55Hz, so music sounds full and movies have body, often without needing a separate subwoofer for casual listening.

• Aim the sound at you: The 1-inch silk dome tweeter pivots up to 40 degrees, so you can angle the treble toward your seat, which makes them as good as surrounds as they are front speakers.

Under the Hood

• 2-way coaxial design: The tweeter sits at the centre of the 8-inch cone for even, consistent sound across a wide area, exactly what you want from an in-wall speaker you often hear from an angle.

• Easy to drive, any role: 125 watts power handling, 87dB sensitivity and an 8-ohm load make them a simple match for any amplifier or receiver, as mains, surrounds or a stereo pair.

• Simple to install: A 225 x 328mm cut-out and 96.5mm mounting depth suit standard wall cavities, and at 1.55kg each, retrofitting a pair is straightforward.

CHT Insider Verdict

For the money, the Encel EW8 is one of the best-value in-wall speakers we stock, which is why we fit so many of them. They're the sensible choice for whole-home audio, rear surrounds, or a tidy lounge system where you don't want speakers on show. Paint them to match and they vanish, but the sound doesn't.
