CHT designs, supplies and builds the room; for the final picture we work with Tony O'Brien of Clarity Calibration, one of Australia's most experienced ISF-certified calibrators. You book and deal with CHT; Tony does the calibration.
Every job is measured: your display is profiled in your room, corrected, and handed back with before-and-after readings so you can see exactly what changed.

Why a Lumagen or madVR unlocks the best picture
A projector can only correct so much with its own menus. An outboard processor lets us build a full 3D LUT, thousands of measured colour points, for accuracy the projector alone can't reach, plus smarter HDR.
You don't need a processor to benefit hugely from calibration, but if you have one, this is where reference lives.

Do you come to me?
Yes, it's an in-home service, so your display is calibrated in the room and lighting you actually watch in. We're based in Sydney and cover the other capital cities; other locations by arrangement.
Which projectors and TVs can you calibrate?
Most modern displays with the necessary picture controls, e.g. Epson, JVC, BenQ and Barco projectors and major TV brands. Send your model with your enquiry and we'll confirm before booking.
Do I need a Lumagen or madVR Envy?
No, a projector-only calibration already makes a big difference. A Lumagen Radiance Pro or madVR Envy unlocks reference-grade 3D LUT calibration and better HDR tone-mapping, which is what the Reference level covers.
What's a 3D LUT?
A 3D Look-Up Table maps thousands of measured colour points to their correct values inside your processor, far more precise than the handful of controls inside a projector, giving reference-level accuracy.
How long does it take?
Typically around 2–4 hours depending on the display and gear. HDR and 3D LUT work adds time but delivers the biggest gains.
How often should I recalibrate?
We suggest a re-check every 12–24 months, or after a lamp/laser change or a major firmware update, as displays drift over time.
How much does it cost?
