The Monitor Audio Radius 1 4G is the smallest speaker in the Radius 4G range, a sealed two way measuring 135mm in every direction, with a 4 inch RST III bass-mid driver and a 19mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter. Sold as a pair, it is built for surround channels, discreet multi-room and desktop systems where a conventional bookshelf speaker simply will not fit. Mounting options cover wall brackets, the Radius Floor Stand 4G and the Radius Desk Pad 4G.

Why You'll Love It

• Small enough to actually disappear. A 135mm cube weighing 1.8kg goes on a wall bracket, a shelf or a desk without dominating the room, which is the whole reason satellites exist.
• Sealed, so it behaves near a wall. There is no port to chuff or boom when the speaker ends up close to a boundary, which is exactly where a surround or multi-room speaker usually has to live.

• Two way sealed design with a 4 inch RST III bass-mid driver and a 19mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter, crossing over at 3.2kHz.
• RST III cone geometry on C-CAM material, with through-bolt driver bracing tying the drive units to the cabinet.
• In-room response from 100Hz to 35kHz at -6dB, 104dB maximum peak SPL to AES75, and 50W continuous power handling to CTA 426-B.

Pro Tip: Set your processor crossover at 120Hz or above for these, not the default 80Hz. The Radius 1 is quoted to 100Hz in room, so an 80Hz crossover asks it to reproduce an octave it was never designed to handle, and you will hear the strain before you hear the bass.
