The Ultra is the WiiM to buy if you already have an amplifier or powered speakers and want a proper streaming front-end. The screen, flagship DAC, phono and sub outputs and preamp mode make it far more than a budget streamer, and it punches well above its price. If you'd rather have streaming and amplification in one box, look at the WiiM Amp instead.

Pro Tip: Plug a turntable or CD player into the Ultra's analogue input and it can stream that source to WiiM speakers in other rooms. Your vinyl isn't stuck in one room anymore, it can play through the whole house at once.
