Digital and FM radio built to hi-fi standards

The Rotel T11 Digital Radio DAB+ Tuner is an FM and DAB+ tuner from a brand that has been making tuners since the 1960s. It gives you easy access to classic analogue FM stations and newer DAB+ digital broadcasts, with room for 30 presets on each band. It is a single component that connects to your system by a standard RCA output.

Why You'll Love It

  • Two ways to listen. FM and DAB+ are both on board, so you can tune classic analogue FM stations and newer digital broadcasts from the one unit.
  • Sixty stations on tap. Store and recall up to 30 FM presets and 30 DAB+ presets, so your favourite stations are one button away.
  • Reads well in any room. The display panel and power LED can be dimmed, giving you a comfortable visual reference in bright rooms or a dark listening space.

Under the Hood

  • Part of the 14 Series. The T11 shares its preset and dimmable-display features with the rest of Rotel's 14 Series, including the T14 tuner.
  • Simple, clean connection. A single RCA analogue output feeds the tuner's signal to your amplifier, with easy-to-operate controls for day-to-day tuning.
  • Focused on radio done right. There is no AM, internet radio or Play-Fi here; the T11 concentrates on FM and DAB+ for the best sound from broadcast radio.

CHT Insider Verdict

The T11 is a straightforward, well-made way to add proper radio to a hi-fi system. It keeps things simple with FM and DAB+, generous presets and a dimmable display, and it carries Rotel's long tuner heritage. If you want broadcast radio that sounds better than a bedside set, this is an easy addition.

Pro Tip: The T11 has a single RCA output and no digital output, so run it into a spare line-level input on your amplifier, such as Aux or Tuner, never a phono input, which would distort the sound.
