Impressive two channel sound with surprising bass

I bought a pair of these SVS active speakers as a soundbar substitute but also because I wanted to listen to better quality stereo music in the TV room. I have a high quality 2.1 music-only system in a dedicated listening room but was looking for a setup in the TV room that was able to provide a satisfying musical experience as well. The SVS Prime Wireless Pro speakers have garnered some impressive reviews and I can clearly see why. They provide a tonally correct, nuanced stereo experience with surprising bass capability and easily handle TV “soundbar” duties, as well. If you need thundering crashes from your movies then just add a subwoofer, The Primes have a Sub Out facility. The connection options are very versatile and include streaming over Chromecast or AirPlay 2, line in, and HDMI Arc. I also use them as a Roon Endpoint. SVS have obviously put a lot of thought into the product. They punch above their weight, price-wise, and I readily recommend them.
