Primare Allt-i-Ett Streaming Audio System

Swedish for all in one, and it means it

The Primare Allt-i-Ett is a single blackwood cabinet containing ten drivers, 300W of DSP controlled amplification, a Prisma streaming platform, DAB plus and FM tuners, an HDMI eARC input for a television and a moving magnet phono stage. There are no separate speakers and nothing else to buy. It is 690mm wide, and it is the whole system.

Why You'll Love It

• Nothing else needed. Ten drivers, amplification, streaming, radio, television input and a turntable input in one cabinet, so the only cable leaving it goes to the wall.
• A phono stage that is actually there. The RCA input switches to moving magnet phono, which is rare in a one box system and means a turntable connects directly.
• It measures the room. Auto Room EQ corrects for where you have put it, and BACCH 3D processing widens the image well beyond the width of the cabinet.

Under the Hood

• Ten drivers comprising six 4 inch woofers, two 4 inch midrange units and two 0.75 inch tweeters, driven by 300W peak of DSP controlled amplification.
• Prisma platform with WiFi 6 and Ethernet supporting AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, and Spotify, TIDAL and Qobuz Connect at up to 192kHz 24-bit, plus local playback to 768kHz 32-bit PCM and DSD512.
• HDMI eARC for television audio, DAB plus and FM tuners, a switchable moving magnet phono input, a subwoofer output and a 3.5mm headphone socket.

CHT Insider Verdict

One box systems usually ask you to give something up, and the honest answer here is stereo width from a single cabinet. BACCH 3D does a genuinely surprising job of addressing that, but it is processing, not two speakers three metres apart. Buy this because you want one beautiful object doing everything in a living room, not because you are trying to beat separates on sound per dollar. On those terms it is excellent.

Pro Tip: Run the Auto Room EQ after the unit is in its final position, not before. Moving it even half a metre closer to a rear wall changes the bass loading enough to be worth measuring again.
