The dual 8-inch woofers give it the scale and authority of far more expensive speakers, and the Legend-derived drivers keep it detailed and refined rather than just loud. As a stereo pair it is a genuine audiophile speaker, and as the front of a home theatre it anchors the whole system. It is a demanding load though, dipping to 3.6 ohms, so give it a capable amplifier. Sold as a pair.
