The Bryston 9B³ Cubed Multi-Channel Amplifier puts three, four or five independent amplifier modules in one chassis, each rated at 200W into 8Ω and 300W into 4Ω. Every channel is a complete Cubed amplifier rather than a shared board, so a home theatre gets the same treatment Bryston gives its stereo customers. The 9B³ is the sensible way to run a serious multi-channel system without filling a rack with stereo amplifiers. Because the channel count is fixed when it is built, think carefully about where your system is heading before you choose, since adding channels later is not a plug-in job.
