The Njord is the Hodr with the big light engine: three 0.9" DMDs, laser phosphor, 12,500 lumens dimmable to 4,000. It exists for screens beyond 6 metres, for rooms that cannot be blacked out, and for outdoor and pool-house cinemas that run at dusk rather than at night.

16:9 or Cinemascope

The Cinemascope Njord maps the DMDs to a native 2.37:1 image (5120 × 2160) at up to 9,000 lumens.

Lens

Supplied with the TLD+ 1.50–2.00:1; the TLD+ family covers 0.37:1 to 11:1 and four mid-range lenses are included at no charge.

Where it sits

Same platform, processing and 43 dB as the Hodr, so it wants a projection room or hush box. If the screen is under 5 metres and the room is dark, the Njord is more light than you can use; the Hodr or Heimdall+ is the better spend. Above it, the Freya moves to the native-4K Series 4 cinema platform.
