Speaker & Dolby Atmos placement planner

Tell us your room and how you want to mount your speakers. We map exactly where each one goes: angles, wall positions and true ceiling geometry. We flag anything that won't fit, and build your shopping list with the right amplifier. Then shop it or have us design the room.

You have placed the speakers. Now choose them.

The system builder starts from this layout and room size, prices a matched set from stock we can supply, and checks it hangs together.

Save your plan, then shop the list

Enter your email and we'll send you this layout and shopping list so you can order when you're ready — or save it straight to PDF for your installer.

We use your details to send you this plan and to follow up about your room. See our privacy policy.

"Save plan as PDF" downloads a multi-page PDF with both diagrams, the full placement table and your shopping list. Follows Dolby Atmos home & ITU-R BS.775 reference ranges. Ceiling positions are computed from your ceiling height. Real rooms vary, and we fine-tune on site.

The real next step: CHT cinema design

A plan places the speakers. A design engineers the room.

This tool positions your speakers to the correct positions. That's the easy part, in an empty box. What it can't do is account for what your actual room does to the sound: the bass peaks and nulls your walls create, the reflections that blur detail, the noise in and out. That's the real work of a cinema, and it's what a CHT design calculates, models and solves for your exact space.

Room modes & even bassYour room's dimensions create standing waves: big peaks and dead spots in the bass. We calculate them and design multi-sub placement so every seat gets tight, even bass, not one boomy sweet spot.
Acoustic treatmentFirst reflections and reverb smear dialogue and collapse the surround image. We model where absorption and diffusion go, how much and exactly where, so the room disappears and the mix comes through.
Subwoofer & bass designHow many subs, where they go and bass-management strategy, engineered for your room, so the low end is powerful and even rather than one-note.
Sightlines & seating risersRiser heights and seat positions worked out so every row sees the whole screen without heads in the way, and sits inside the ideal listening zone.
Screen, masking & light controlCorrect screen size and gain for the room, acoustically transparent screens, aspect-ratio masking, and controlling stray light and screen wash for real, deep contrast.
Isolation & HVAC noiseStopping sound escaping the room, and keeping aircon and outside noise from bleeding in, so the quiet scenes are actually quiet.
Beyond the design

Want it done, not just drawn? We can build and tune the whole room.

A design is the blueprint. If you'd rather not juggle trades and guesswork, we take it the whole way: managing the entire build end to end, then calibrating the finished room to reference standard so it performs exactly as designed.

Turnkey build

End-to-end project management

One team coordinating every trade: framing and soundproofing, acoustics, electrical and network, AV install, seating, screen and finishes, so nothing falls between contractors and the room is built right the first time.

The final 10%

Reference calibration

Once it's built, we measure and tune the finished room: levels, distances, speaker EQ, bass management and Atmos steering (Dirac / measured), for a verified reference result, not "sounds about right".
