Thor Dynamic Active Tracking Circuit Technology Explained

Thor has developed their own Dynamic Active Tracking protection which is used in their power boads. While normal surge protection boards are designed to simple absorb the surge, Thor Dynamic Tracking takes it further and monitors the sine wave while looking out for transient spikes and surges. They also filter all power through their 3 Bank Isolation which cleans the incoming supply to prevent EMI, RFI and EMF whichhave the potential to cause issues and damage equipement.

Could have been packaged better !

Ordered 2 Thor A12 powerboards, they arrived in a timely manner in a cardboard box but the box only contained 2 pieces of bubble wrap in it supposedly protecting the powerboards inside, main issue though was that both pieces of bubble wrap were on the top of the powerboards .. nothing in the bottom on the box at all which is where the main impact is going to be in transportation. Luckily the powerboards don't seem to have taken any damage although one of the boxes did have a nice dent in it presumably when the box got thrown around in transit.

Surely it wouldn't be too much to ask and pretty much common sense really to actually package these delicate items with a bit more care and consideration ... surely ?

Great product

Seems to make duracel rechargeable batteries charge faster and runs cooler as well.

Custom Ht experience was good too, fast delivery but no purchase or dispatch emails (only paypal payment confirmation). I did receive a welcome email after registering though.

Quality product, well packaged and delivered promptly

I haven't yet been able to connect my hi-fi and review the sound as yet. However, the Thor A12BF certainly looks to be a quality product, with the separation of 3 circuits (2 filtered) a definite plus for me in a hi-fi application. Delivery time, packaging and price were all very good, though I did note fingerprints on the back of the unit which made me wonder whether perhaps I have been shipped a demo (rather than a brand new) unit. Advice of when it would be appropriate to use the separate, surge protected but non filtered circuit seems hard to find in the accompanying documentation.
