The Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 Turntable arrives with the new Pick it MM EVO cartridge already fitted, so it is ready to set up and play out of the box. It is handmade in the EU and refines the well-loved Debut design with a stiffer tonearm, a heavier platter and cleaner cable routing. A choice of ten finishes lets it match almost any room.

Fitted and ready. The Pick it MM EVO moving-magnet cartridge is supplied and mounted, developed with Ortofon in Denmark for a flat, detailed response.

Under the Hood

One-piece carbon fibre tonearm. The 8.6-inch carbon tonearm is stiff yet light, which helps the cartridge track cleanly and hold a stable soundstage.
TPE-damped aluminium platter. The 1.7 kg die-cast platter is precision balanced and anti-magnetic, with an internal TPE ring to reduce resonance, wow and flutter.
Ortofon-developed cartridge. The Pick it MM EVO uses Ortofon split pole pins for a flat frequency response closer to a moving-coil design.
