It borrows premium driver technology from Monitor Audio's flagship Platinum II speakers and pairs it with a heavily braced cabinet, so it delivers real authority in medium to large rooms. Sold as a pair.

Effortless authority from 30 Hz to 50 kHz. Two 8" bass drivers and rear-firing HiVe II ports give the Gold 300 the punch to fill a larger room, while the top end stays crisp and open.
Flagship driver technology. The MPD high-frequency transducer and RDT II bass cones come straight from Monitor Audio's more expensive designs, so detail and dynamics stay composed at any volume.

Under the Hood

MPD high-frequency transducer. Monitor Audio's MPD tweeter delivers articulate, extended high frequencies that stay supremely smooth.
RDT II sandwich cones. The dual 8" bass drivers use a thin C-CAM skin over a Nomex honeycomb core with a woven carbon fibre back, for a cone that is stiff, light and well damped.
