Travelling companion

I have only used the headphones for about 15 to 20 hours. I was a bit disappointed when I first used it. It sounded a bit muddy and the instruments did not sound as separated as I would like. After 10 to 15 hours, things started to get better. I was enjoying EDM more than I did before. Specially when in ANC mode where the bass gets a bit louder. For acoustic music and instruments, I prefer ANC turned off. The background is starting to get darker which made individual instruments clearer and more separated. I am currently satisfied with my purchase but still waiting if the sound would continue to open up. I currently have the treble up 1db to get a bit more air on Jazz vocals. Still looking for that valve like sweetness. Very comfortable but gets a bit warm on the ears after a few hours. Will get a chance to use it for travelling soon. This will not replace my home system but I will definitely be happy with it for travelling and watching movies at night while everyone is asleep.
