A centre speaker has a demanding part to play: a soloist delivering clear, natural dialogue one moment, and part of the ensemble the next. The Prime Centre delivers both with world-class precision using a 1" aluminium dome tweeter, a dedicated and independently sealed 3.5" midrange driver, and dual 5.25" woofers, a true three-way design that is a rarity for centre speakers in its price class. Voicing is neutral and natural, bringing dialogue forward just enough to stay clear and intelligible, then blending smoothly for realistic effects transitions.

Superior Technology and Design.
Borrowing from the flagship Ultra Centre, the Prime Centre uses a vertically-aligned tweeter and midrange to eliminate comb filtering and lobing in the horizontal axis, for crystal-clear dialogue at every seat. The dual 5.25" woofers deliver full, rich sound and plenty of punch, and the midrange sits in its own dedicated sealed compartment so the woofers can't colour it. Available in premium piano gloss black or black ash.

Driver and Crossover Details

  • 1" aluminium dome tweeter with FEA-optimised diffuser for an open, airy presentation and unveiled highs.
  • Dedicated 3.5" midrange driver (sealed compartment) with polypropylene cone and cast composite basket for precise alignment.
  • Dual 5.25" woofers with polypropylene cones, aluminium shorting rings and vented voice-coil formers for punchy, articulate bass.
  • SoundMatch 3-way crossover with premium-grade capacitors, air-core inductors and heavy-trace circuit boards for a seamless transition between all drivers.
